It is an exciting time to be joining the team, as we build on the success of the iconic Titanic Belfast visitor attraction, work towards delivering our vision for Belfast’s waterfront promenade, and maximise the opportunities created by the designation of Belfast Historic Waterfront as a Heritage Place. Through an exciting programme of heritage-led projects, we are committed to preserving Belfast’s rich maritime heritage and creating welcoming spaces that connect people to place and city to waterfront.

Maritime Belfast’s partnership with The National Lottery Heritage Fund is unlocking exciting opportunities to preserve and promote Belfast’s rich maritime heritage.  This new post of Heritage Officer has been created with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to realise our ambitions for heritage led place-shaping.  The post is also part of a wider network of three Heritage Engagement Officers based within our community partner organisations, Lower Ormeau, EastSide and Sailortown.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of a well-resourced, people-focussed, heritage network.
